I've been given a couple of tasks to do by universities as part of my application process.
I'm doing a bit of brainstorming at the moment...
I have a question to ask people - how could we make the world a better place? Also think about this being locally rather than globally.
I am going to create a series of 4 images to depict this.

Massive question! I assume they may be looking for somwething innovative or interesting in your approach to this. Where does one begin to answer this? You've got me thinking. Mind if I check back in with you soon?
ReplyDeleteSome tentative ideas:
ReplyDeleteDelay formal education until, age 6 or even 7.
Build more libraries.
Send all the leaders of the major religions away to an orphanage in Africa or India and make them 'get on with it'.
Take better care of older people and show them respect.
Make Viktor Frankl compulsory reading in all schools.
Have free or, at least, very cheap public transport.
Add an extra day to a week where people aren't allowed to do ANYTHING (not sure how this could work...haven't thought it through!)
Acknowledge we know nothing.
Slash prices of tickets to things like opera, the theatre etc. to ensure the less well off can attend.
Have a TV free day.
Introduce 18 months compulsory public service/commuinity work as an alternative to conscription into any armed force.
Plant trees.
That's off the top of my head. I'll think more.
