Come Dine With Me

Well even though the last couple of weeks have been busy I've still had time to sit on my arse watching telly and surfing the net. I came across this blog http://valerieholliday.blogspot.com/
which amazed me! I'm a huge fan of the channel 4 show Come Dine With Me and this is without a doubt the best episode they ever did. A whole blog dedicated to it! Recently it was exposed that the homes used in the celebrity shows were not really their own, however I'm willing to pass this by ;) . This episode is a definite must see, the best thing to come out of Preston!

help!

I've been given a couple of tasks to do by universities as part of my application process.
I'm doing a bit of brainstorming at the moment...
I have a question to ask people - how could we make the world a better place? Also think about this being locally rather than globally.
I am going to create a series of 4 images to depict this.

The King Lives
Finally got a good bit of telly last night. BBC 2 were showing documentaries about Elvis, followed by his 1968 comeback gig.
I've been a fan of Elvis since I was really quite young, even though he was never about in my lifetime I find him still very relevant. Just seeing him on this footage I think if this was a performance today it would still be just as exciting. Some people slate him for not writing his own songs but in this case I don't think it matters. Elvis was an amazing performer who will never be forgotten. He brought rhythm and blues into the mainstream which can only be a good thing right?
Either way I think it's fair to say that he really is a true legend.
"thank yah very much..." ;)
